My client is looking for a talented journalist to break news on up-coming M&A, IPO’s and other equity related deals across North America. The job involves interviewing C level executives at major companies to find out about their growth plans, also networking with M&A Lawyers and Bankers to uncover any rumours about potential deals and attend industry events. You will be producing a small number of weekly stories on new deals, as well as tracking the progress of those deals and providing insight on trends. As an experienced M&A journalist you will also help to mentor and train junior reporters, aiding in the development of their networking, contact building and off-diary news writing skills. You will be joining a growing team of reporters and editors who set the standard in M&A deal reporting in the US, so this is a great opportunity to be part of a highly successful business that offers great promotional prospects.
