My client is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics, serving professionals across hedge funds, investment banking, management consulting, and law firms.
This is a unique opportunity to join an established team of journalists covering one of the most dynamic and topical areas of the European credit market. In this role, you will generate leads on private credit borrowers under pressure and report on transactions involving the buying and selling of existing private credit fund interests, loan portfolios, and GP-led deals.
Coverage focuses on private equity-backed businesses financed through private debt. You will also produce in-depth, thematic pieces that connect key developments across sectors and uncover emerging trends in private credit and private equity.
Experience and strong industry contacts within private credit funds, the advisory community, and private equity are highly desirable. Additional European language skills are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Break exclusive news on LP and GP-led transactions, as well as stressed large-cap and mid-cap private credit names
- Support team members in sourcing deals and expanding market coverage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts across private equity, private credit, and advisory firms
- Identify and report on emerging trends and developments within private equity and private credit markets
- Collaborate closely with financial analysts, legal experts, and fellow journalists
