My client is a rapidly growing provider of leveraged finance and distressed debt news and analysis, they are seeking a talented and resourceful financial journalist to join their London team to report on primary leveraged finance markets and private credit. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a compelling market and work in an exciting, collaborative multi-background team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the high yield/leveraged loans and/or the direct lending market but they will also look at individuals who have experience reporting on any asset class, the key is to have solid networking and contact building skills and the ability to write about granular topics. In this role you will need to develop and maintain a rapport with key banking and investor contacts in the bonds and leveraged loan professional space and write about the mechanics of bond and/or leveraged loan syndication, looking at individual deals and tapping the market to gain investor insight.
