My client is a leading provider of real-time news and analysis for a broad client base that includes traders, portfolio managers, economists, and strategists on both the buy-side and sell-side of the global energy, foreign exchange and fixed income markets. In this role you will be producing insightful, concise, actionable real-time analysis of the impact of macro-economic events on the energy markets in real-time, as well as contributing to thematic research. You will need to have a clear understanding of the oil, gas or electricity generation markets, as well as how macro-economic events act as drivers. A background as an analyst or in the markets as a trader is essential for this role. You will be part of a rapidly expanding team of experienced analysts and former traders drawn from the investment banking, hedge fund and macro research industries.
