My client is a market leading publication with a team of talented journalists who focus solely on producing original news and analysis. As a reporter you won’t be asked to produce content from press releases or aggregates sources, so you will have the time and resources to develop trusted relationships with senior leaders and dealmakers, enabling you to break news on market defining deals as well as producing deep sector insight. This is a role that will suit someone who really enjoys speaking to and meeting contacts both in London and key financial centres across Europe. Experience covering M&A or any deal-based beat would be ideal but what is more important is experience building sources and breaking news from those contacts, this is because what my client delivers to their subscribers can’t be found in the public domain. So, if you have great communication skills, want to only produce original content and be part of a growing and entrepreneurial team, then this role is perfect.
