One of my clients is looking for a senior data journalist to help enhance their coverage of the private investment market, using their skills to identify trends, anomalies, and key insights within data collections to produce insightful analysis, as well as working with reporters and editors across their titles to generate data visualizations that bring stories to life. My client is a leader in their sector, publishing a stable of titles covering various asset classes in the private markets space. This role is NY based, paying $100-120k, and you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial team of experienced journalists in a growing company. You will need to have experience writing articles based on data, also have the ability to work with different types of data sets and experience producing data visuals. Experience with Python or R, as well as the use of Illustrator or other graphics packages is needed.
