My client is a financial newswire, which provides breaking news and market-moving intelligence for hedge funds, investment banks and law firms. Their reporters cover some of the most interesting and diverse deals in the markets at the moment, looking into companies who are struggling with large debt obligations and seeking to provide clarity for investors on these situations.
They are looking for a reporter with experience producing contact-driven, financial news reporting. You will be based in their London office, covering major European restructuring and bankruptcy cases as well as other important debt transactions.
You will work closely with a team of experienced journalists and financial analysts to produce comprehensive, up-to-the-minute coverage of the European high yield and distressed debt markets for an international specialist audience.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a good salary, generous bonus scheme and the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team in a collegial environment. Along with solid journalism experience, fluent French and some understanding of debt capital market structures will be highly beneficial. If you have direct experience of the distressed markets then my client is willing to offer a higher salary than the stated range.
