My client is a major provider of news and analysis on pre-deal M&A across the world, they have a team of talented journalists who uncover companies which are looking to acquire or sell. They currently have an opening for a financial services reporter, someone who has contacts in financial services at the senior executive level and an understanding of the regulatory issues surrounding M&A within the banking, insurance and funds sector. As a reporter you will regularly be speaking to senior executives at these financial institutions to discuss any growth plans they have, also networking with M&A bankers and lawyers to talk about sector activity. This is a role that focuses on original reporting, so much of your time will be spent talking to people and meeting with contacts. The role is London based and there is some flexibility on salary for the right person.
