This is a great role for an experienced financial journalist with a sound understanding of the investment grade and high yield bond market to further their career. In this role you will be working closely with the America’s editor, producing market wraps on this fast moving market, covering new issuances and speaking to investors and traders to produce insight into deals. Initially you will be working as a senior reporter alongside the outgoing editor, working closely in order to succeed and take over the beat. As you progress you will manage one reporter and be responsible for the quality and flow of news and analysis, writing and editing deal reviews (post-pricing) and market trend/feature pieces, as well as for the collation, writing and editing of weekly/monthly US market wraps and when you take over the full role your salary will increase to reflect your increased responsibilities. There will also be regular trips to NY to meet contacts, attend events and conferences and grow your base of sources.
