My client is a fast-growing financial publisher who focuses on Investment Fund activity, producing magazines, reports, sponsored content and events. This role involves working with and managing a team of researchers conducting telephone interviews with fund managers to find out what their fund allocation strategy is in relation to markets like private equity, real estate and infrastructure, discovering when and where pools of capital are invested and what their expectations are. As a senior manager you will be responsible for managing various research projects and ensuring the day-to-day activities of your team are carried out efficiently to deliver reports, league tables and daily written briefs that give the subscribers insight into what direction the investment community is taking. This role also has a strategic element; looking at ways to improve processes and ensuring the reports have a greater analytical element. My client is looking for an research manager with knowledge of the funds sector and experience managing individuals or teams.
