News Editor – EMEA Infrastructure – London

Salary:£40-50,000 + Bonus

Talented Journalist with a background in source driven breaking news and scoops on financial deals.

My client is a market leading publication that keeps the infrastructure investment community abreast of deals coming to market and the procurement of projects across; EMEA, US & Canada, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. In addition to the news and analysis service they also host a series of industry forums around the world.

They are currently looking for a talented journalist with a background in source driven breaking news and scoops on financial deals to take the lead on their news delivery across EMEA. Experience covering the project finance and funds markets would be ideal, but a background in any deal focused financial journalism will be valued.

This is an editorial role; editing team copy, directing team news and news analysis priorities, as well as contributing to news. You will work closely with the EMEA Editor to ensure the reporting team produces up to the minute news for the daily bulletin, as news editor you will be responsible for providing guidance on style and content, ensuring stories add value to the product. You will need to have a good understanding of complex debt markets and the intricacies surrounding multi-billion pound deals and the ability to guide and mentor junior staff. As news editor you will be part of the global editorial team and an integral to what makes this publication so successful.
