My client is looking for a talented, news focused financial journalist to write about companies who are either seeking to re-finance or are in a distressed debt situation. The role involves producing detailed articles about these companies which enable investors to assess if they are a potential investment opportunity. You will be working with a highly talented team of reporters and editors in a role which is focused on investigative journalism, digging up sensitive information on companies as well as producing trend and market stories. A strong track record of producing off diary stories is key, you need to be a solid networker and able to source information from industry contacts because the really valuable information is not available through court papers or open sources. If you have some experience breaking news on financial deals and are keen to work in an environment that will both challenge you have help you grow as a journalist then this could be the perfect role.
