Highly experienced financial regulatory editor to run specialist team
My client is a market leader in exclusive online news and analysis on regulation of antitrust, finance, trade, privacy, data security, bribery and corruption. They have offices across the world and are currently expanding their global team.
Due to promotion they are looking for an experienced financial journalist with solid managerial skills to run the London Bureau. Managing a team of 8 reporters covering complex regulatory developments and rulings you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of editorial output, providing guidance on stories and ensuring daily coverage priorities are met by the team. Along with running the London team you will also liaise with managing editors in other regions to co-ordinate news and analysis priorities.
You will need to have extensive experience in a fast-paced news environment, managing teams of reporters covering banking and finance, preferably regulation. Also, the ability to spot talent, excellent communication, writing and editing skills and be able build a cohesive team.
